Forensic Odontology

The application of dental study which include criminal and civil laws that are carried out by police agencies in a criminal justice system is called Forensic dentistry or forensic odontology. Forensic dentists assist the investigative agencies to identify the recovered human which is remained with the whole or fragmented bodies. Forensic dentists may also be asked to assist to know determining age, occupation, race, previous dental history and socioeconomic status of unidentified human beings.
