Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry is commonly used to mention to any dental work that upgrades the appearance (though not necessarily the functionality) of teeth, gums and/or bite. It primarily aims on improvement in dental aesthetics in shape, colour, position, alignment, size and overall smile appearance. The American Dental Association does not allow cosmetic dentistry as a formal specialty area of dentistry. However, there are still some unethical dentists who promote themselves as cosmetic dentists.
